Audionorm
Normalize audio loudness in your browser or from the command line.
Overview
Audionorm measures perceptual loudness and applies the gain needed to reach a target without exceeding a true-peak ceiling. Use the private browser app for drag-and-drop processing or the zero-install CLI for files, folders, and batch workflows.
LUFS normalization
Measure integrated loudness using ITU-R BS.1770 and EBU R128 targets.
True-peak protection
Pull back gain when needed so normalization does not introduce clipping.
SFX preset
Bring short UI sounds and notifications to a consistent peak level.
Browser and CLI
Process locally in the PWA or batch files and folders with npx audionorm.
Use and install
Open the private browser app and install it as a PWA, or run the zero-install CLI with Node.js.
Open appFAQ
No. The web app measures and processes audio entirely in your browser.
The CLI supports WAV, MP3, FLAC, M4A, and OGG output.
Use the sfx preset for short button clicks, notifications, and other interface sounds.
