Overview

IPTV Player is a local-first web app for loading M3U and M3U8 sources, browsing channels, and watching compatible streams in the browser. Playlist parsing, saved sources, favorites, and recent history stay on your device with no backend, account, or playlist upload.

M3U and M3U8 sources

Load local playlist files, raw M3U text, remote M3U sources, or direct HLS manifests.

Browser playback

Use native browser HLS support first, with an hls.js fallback, plus fullscreen, Picture-in-Picture, retry, seeking, and stream URL copy.

Find channels quickly

Search channels, filter groups, manage multiple saved sources, and keep favorites and recent playback close at hand.

Local-first storage

Keep large playlists in IndexedDB while lightweight favorites and playback history remain in local browser storage.

Use and install

Open IPTV Player in a supported browser, then choose Install app from the browser menu to add it as a PWA.

FAQ

What sources can I load?

You can load local M3U files, raw M3U text, remote M3U playlists, or direct M3U8 HLS URLs.

Are playlists uploaded?

No. Playlist parsing, saved sources, favorites, and recent history are handled in your browser and stored locally.

Can every IPTV stream play?

Playback depends on browser codec support, CORS headers, authentication, cookies, DRM, protocol support, and whether the stream is served over HTTPS.

Does IPTV Player provide channels?

No. It does not provide, host, index, or bundle television channels or playlists. Load only sources you have permission to access.
