Overview
Retrocast TV is a local-first video player that presents online streams and local media inside nostalgic television displays. Play YouTube links, HLS streams, direct video URLs, M3U playlists, and local files, then browse channels with XMLTV programme data and control playback from an on-screen remote.

Use and install
Open Retrocast TV in a supported browser, then choose Install app from the browser menu to add the PWA.

Yes. Import XMLTV data and match it with channel metadata from an M3U or M3U8 playlist.
The installed app shell and local settings can work offline. YouTube, external streams, remote playlists, and uncached media still need a network connection.
The video format must be supported by the browser and the source host must permit browser access when CORS is required.
